Darkest Hour Convalescence Music Video

Convalescence music video from American metal band Darkest Hour, from their 2005 album, Undoing Ruin.  The record was in some ways a breakout record for the band being their first record to chart and landing in the Billboard 200 at 138 after decent first week sales.  The video for Convalescence  shows the band playing in an old abandoned mill has old grainy film effect applied, and saw a lot of airplay on MTV Headbangers Ball

Convalescence Lyrics

It’s been a long night
Waiting to sleep the day away
And it’s been a long time
Coming along
With me every step of the way
The confinement binds you
And nothing scares me, nothing thrills me
I’ve fooled myself into believing
That nothing ails me, nothing kills me
The confinement binds you
And nothing scares me, nothing thrills me
I’ve fooled myself into believing
That nothing ails me, nothing can kill me
The stagnant time
Is a breeding ground for regrets and wrongdoings
And resolutions take their time
That’s if they even come at all
Ways seeking redemption
Through the echoes I’ve listened
And still came up missing
And always seeking redemption
And through the echoes I’ve listened
And seeped through the cracks
The stagnant time
Is a breeding ground for regrets and wrongdoings
And resolutions take their time
That’s if they even come at all
The confinement binds you
And nothing scares me, nothing thrills me
I’ve fooled myself into believing
That nothing ails me, nothing kills me
The confinement binds you
And nothing scares me, nothing thrills me
I’ve fooled myself into believing
That nothing ails me, nothing can kill me
These wounds will heal
Nothing can stop me now
Said, these wounds will heal
Nothing can stop me now
These wounds will heal -x3
